Restoration

Piano reconstruction is a process that combines professional knowledge, craftsmanship and patience. We begin with a comprehensive inspection of the instrument — the structure, the instrument board, the plates, the mechanics, the keyboard and the finish — to understand its condition and potential. Depending on the need, we perform mechanical and acoustic work, repair or replacement of components, repair of the instrument board and the instrument, repair of the keyboard and treatment of the piano body and external finishing. After the reconstruction work is completed, the piano undergoes precise direction, regulation, tuning and intonation, until the right balance between mechanics, touch and sound is achieved.
